Queensland Dignitaries Visit Plasvacc In Recognition Of Contribution To Regional Export Market

KALBAR, QUEENSLAND — Plasvacc Pty Ltd hosted a delegation of Queensland dignitaries at its Kalbar headquarters on Tuesday, November 22.

Led by Queensland Assistant Minister of Treasury, Charis Mullen, she was joined by Trade & Investment Queensland’s Southern Regional Network leadership team of Manager, Reg Roberts and Principle Trade and Investment Officer, Julie Mark.

The Queensland Government’s global business agency, Trade & Investment Queensland represents Queensland-based businesses overseas and helps establish new export markets.

“The Queensland Government is proud to support small businesses like Plasvacc in exporting their products around the country and the world, with the help of Trade and Investment Queensland,” voiced Assistant Minister Mullen.

Plasvacc was recently named Queensland’s ‘Small Business of the Year’ at the 2022 Premier of Queensland Export Awards before being named a national finalist in the same category at the Australian Export Awards.

“From the Scenic Rim to the world, Plasvacc are using their expertise and products to support better health outcomes for animals,” Mullen continued. “I am so pleased their efforts were recognised at the 2022 Premier’s Export Awards, and I look forward to seeing them grow their success locally and abroad.”

A testament to the efforts of the Queensland government and Trade & Investment Queensland, Queensland exports topped 131 billion dollars this year, representing a nearly 100-percent increase over last year’s export totals. Find more data here.
